The World Waterfowl Conference 2027 scientific programme brings together international experts to present and discuss the latest advances in waterfowl production systems.

It covers socio-economy, genetics, health, welfare, environment, nutrition, and product quality.

📄 Call for Abstracts & Guidelines

Welcome to the submission portal for WWC 2027. Please review the guidelines below before submitting your work.

1. Abstract Guidelines (Click to expand)
  • Length Limit: Maximum of 2,750 characters (including spaces).
  • Required Content: Abstract title, full author names, affiliations, contact email, main text (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion), and up to 5 keywords.
  • Formatting: Plain text only. No figures, tables, or complex mathematical formulas allowed in the text.
  • Quota: Authors may submit multiple abstracts, but are limited to a maximum of 3 abstracts as Presenting Author.
2. Instructions for Submission (Click to expand)
  • Submission Deadline: March 31, 2027 (11:59 PM, French Time / CET).
  • Accepted File Format: Documents must be uploaded in Microsoft Word (.docx) format only via our Google Form.
  • Security Requirement: Uploading your Word file requires a Google account (Gmail or Google Workspace email) for IT security and virus protection reasons.
  • Notification & Registration: Authors will be notified of acceptance by April 30, 2027. Presenting authors must complete registration and fee payment to be included in the official program.
3. Poster Guidelines (Click to expand)
  • Format & Size: Standard A0 Format (84.1 cm width x 118.9 cm height) – Portrait orientation only.
  • Legibility: Text and graphics should be easily readable from a distance of 1 meter.
  • On-site Display: Mounting materials will be provided on site. Dedicated poster sessions will take place during coffee breaks and scheduled presentations.

  • 09:00 – 09:30: Review on socio-economy of waterfowl production
  • 09:30 – 10:30: 4 oral communications on socio-economy
  • 10:30 – 11:00: Coffee break and posters
  • 11:00 – 11:30: Review on production effects on environment and sustainability
  • 11:30 – 12:30: 4 oral communications on environment and sustainability
  • 12:30 – 14:00: Lunch break and posters
  • 14:00 – 15:00: Oral presentation of 12 selected posters (5 min/poster, 2 slides/poster presented in 3 min, 2 posters/topic, no questions)
  • 15:00 – 15:30: Review on welfare and behaviour
  • 15:30 – 16:30: 4 oral communications on welfare and behaviour
  • 16:30 – 17:00: Coffee break and posters

Note: According to the number of propositions received for oral communications, 2 parallel sessions may be organized in 2 different rooms on Wednesday.
